How is GPA calculated?
GPA = sum of (grade points × credits) ÷ total credits. This is a weighted average where courses with more credits count more.
What is a 4.0 GPA?
On the US 4.0 scale, 4.0 is the maximum (all A grades). Most universities consider 3.5+ as honors level.
Can I calculate a semester GPA separately from cumulative?
